Aluminium honeycomb core panel is sandwich panel that is consisted of 2 layers of aluminium sheets and a light weighted honeycomb core. These 3 layers are glued together. This honeycomb core panel is a multipurpose material that are used in so many sectors, such as facade cladding, interior wall partition, ceiling panels, aluminum furniture etc. 

We would need to use different honeycomb panel thickness for different uses. If we plan to use aluminium honeycomb core panel as partition wall, we recommend a thick panel such as 50mm thick, 70mm thick or even 100mm thick. For partition wall panel we prefer installation to be easy and fast and want the elevation wall to look flat, so a thick aluminum honeycomb core panel will be directly used as the wall and connected by H shape aluminium extrusions. There is no need to put concret walls or much steel frame behind.

If we plan to use aluminium honeycomb core panel for ceiling, then thickness such as 10mm thick, 12mm thick generally will be enough. If needed, we can consider 20mm or 25mm even 30mm thick aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel. The honeycomb core panel for ceiling decoration comes in big size so there will be much less joints between panel to panel. If we use traditional aluminium false ceiling the size is only 300x300mm or 600x600mm, but using aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel we can make big panel like 1220x2440, 1500x3000mm or even much bigger as we won't. The panel surface will be flat even when sizes are so big.
