What are PP Polypropylene Honeycomb Panels?

PP honeycomb panel is a type of honeycomb panel that is made with PP honeycomb core, and laminated with different types of skins. PP is short for Polypropylene. Honeycomb panel skin layer can be aluminium sheet, FRP sheet, fiber cloth, HPL etc.

Polypropylene (PP) core is a type of plastic that is pre-molded to be honeycomb shape. PP plastic itself is a rigid and crystalline thermoplastic. Making it into hollow honeycomb structure will additionally reduce the weight but adding more rigidity and strength, so it’s suitable to be used for many applications.

Features of PP Polypropylene Honeycomb Panels:

1. PP honeycomb is a durable plastic material that has good anti-corrosive property, even when it's being used in extreme conditions such as a salty marine environment.

2. PP honeycomb panel has good shock & compression resistance as PP is flexible material to absorb shocks and impacts.

3. PP honeycomb panel is environmental friendly product, it can be separated & recycled after replacement or no longer needed, that will reduce the impact to our environment.

Applications of PP Polypropylene Honeycomb Panels:

1. For making furniture such as kitchen cabinets, bedroom closets etc. HPL skins and PP core or Aluminium skins with PP core are suitable for such applications.

2. For making construction partitions, such as for wall partition or shield of construction sites etc.

3. For architectural purpose, such as making roofing, ceiling, wall, flooring of truck body or boat body etc.
