Stone honeycomb panels can be done in two ways. One method is using real stone veneer and glue it onto aluminium honeycomb panels. The other method is color coated of stone imitation texture on aluminium honeycomb panels. Both of these two methods are sandwich panels with aluminum honeycomb core. And the stone color aluminium honeycomb panels can either be marble grain or granite grain. Meaning of using aluminum honeycomb core panels (sandwich structure) are always for lightweight, cost saving, higher panel strength.

1. Real stone honeycomb panels: the stone veneer is real stone generally at 3mm, 5mm. And the aluminum honeycomb panel is just as backing panel to increase the stone panel strength and reduce the overal weight. It has total same decorative effects as natural solid stone slabs because the veneer is real stone. And for some stone (marble, grainte) patterns are rare, so they could be very expensive when we use a slab 15mm, 18mm thick etc. By cutting the marble, granite into thin sheets and laminate onto aluminium honeycomb panel substrates, we can save much cost when it's expensive stone pattern. The size of marble honeycomb panels / granite honeycomb panels are same like natural stone, generally are 600x900mm, 600x1200mm etc.

2. Stone (marble / granite) colors aluminium honeycomb panels are artificial finishes. The texture is done by painting. This type of stone color honeycmob panel is more lightweight than the real stone veneer honeycomb panel basing on same thickness. And it's also cheaper because production cost is lower. And panel size of this type of marble color aluminium honeycomb panel and granite aluminum honeycomb panel are much bigger. They can be 1220x2440mm, 1500x5000mm or any sizes as required. Much flexible to work with.

Applications of China Stone Marble Granite Colors Aluminium Aluminum Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panels:

1. For facade cladding. For this use, no matter real stone honeycomb panels or stone color aluminium honeycomb panel (color painted) are good.

2. For floor panels. In this case, only real stone aluminum honeycomb panels can be used.

3. For kitchen cabinets, countertop or stone furiniture. We recommed real stone aluminium honeycomb core panels.
