Traditional roof panels are FRP roof, Polycarbonate panel, EPS steel sandwich panel etc. While aluminium honeycomb panels are becoming more and more popular as roof panel in past 15 years. This 10mm thick honeycomb roof panel is light weighted but very rigid. It won't age or corrode like the plastic roof or steel roof. And the color will stay good for more than 10 years time. It can also be recycled after its service life.
The installation of 10mm thk aluminium honeycomb roof panel is easy and fast. The honeycomb roof panel is installed through a clamping & capping system. Necessary accessories will be needed, such as aluminium clamping bars, aluminium capping, rubber gasket.
Clamping bars: This is an aluminum extrusion used to hold the 10mm thick aluminium honeycomb panel and press it to hold on the steel frame. We use screws to fix the clamping bars on to the frame.
Capping: C shape capping is an extrusion of aluminium that is working a kit to the clamping bar. It will be clip on to the top side of clamping bar. Purpose of this capping is to seal up the clamping bar. Another F shape capping is used to seal up the honeycomb panel edge. Both C & F shap capping will be powder coated to have same color like honeycomb panel.
