What is China Aluminium Aluminum Honeycomb Sandwich Panels?

The aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels are composite materials. Their structure is 3 layers of metals: two aluminium sheets and a hexagonal hollow aluminium honeycomb sandwich core. The 3 layers of metal are bonded together by using PU glue. 

Specifications of China Aluminium Aluminum Honeycomb Sandwich Panels:

Aluminium honeycomb sandwich panels size: width 1220mm, 1500mm, 2000mm etc; length 2440mm, 3000mm, 3500mm etc; Customized panel size available.

Honeycomb panels thickness: 5mm up to 100mm. Other thickness in between can be made, such as 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 50mm, 70mm etc. 

Honeycomb sandwich panels surface: pre-painted colors of any color tones as required. Mill finish (un-painted) surface as cheaper options. Special aluiminum finish like treadplate for antislippery, or anodized surface available.

Honeycomb sandwich core options: different cell diameter and foil thickness available. But we use A6*0.05mm honeycomb sandwich core as standard production.

Why do we use China Aluminium Aluminum Honeycomb Sandwich Panels rather than other aluminum solid panels?

Each product has its advantages. Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels have below specialties:

1. Honeycomb panels combine good strength and lightweight. In our mind we know that metal panels have to be thicker in order to be stronger (higher strength). But aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels can be made thick like 50mm or 100mm, but panel weight is just around 7kgs/m2. While because of the stable structure of honeycomb sandwich core (hollow), the skins of 0.7mm aluminium sheets can present a very good flat surface and good bend resistant property.

2. Wide uses. Honeycomb sandwich panels can be used for building facade, building interior partition wall, ceiling panels; Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels can be used for building boat, train, truck bodies or their interior partitions; Honeycomb panels can be used to produce aluminum furnitures to make the furniture durable; Aluminium honeycomb sandwich panels can be used as substrate to glue stone, HPL, vinyls etc on it.
