FRP Composite panel is known as FRP sandwich panel too. It's a type of 3 layers composite panel: top skin sheet and bottom skin sheet are FRP, and the middle layer is foam core. FRP is fiberglass reinforced resin platic sheet, also called GRP. While the foam core layer is XPS or PU. So we can classify FRP composite panel into below two types:
FRP XPS foam sandwich panel: It is FRP sheet as cover sheet and laminated to XPS foam (expanded polystyrene).
FRP PU foam sandwich panel: it is FRP sheet as cover sheet and laminated to PU foam (polyurethane foam).
FRP Composite Panel thickness: 25mm, 30mm, 50mm etc. Customized thickness from 15mm up to 100mm.
FRP Skin thickness: 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm
FRP types: chopped FRP, woven roving FRP
FRP Surface: Non gel coat; Gel coat in matt white, glossy white or other colors; Gel coat with embossed surface like pebble pattern.
Core: XPS foam (extruded polystyrene) density 30 to 40kgs/m3; PU foam (polyurethane) density 30 to 40kgs/m3
Panel width: from 1000mm up to 2500mm; Standard like 1220mm, 1500mm,, 1800mm,, 2000mm, 2300mm etc
Panel length: cut as required.

Durable materials. FRP skin is chemical resistant, UV resistant, scracth resistant, impact resistant. It's very ideal material to be used whent the environmental condition is tough.
Thermal insulation. Both XPS foam and PU foam are good thermal insulated. Comparison between XPS foam & PU foam: PU is slightly expensive but it's thermal insulation value is also slightly better than XPS, and PU can be made to fire resitant too but XPS cannot.
Both FRP XPS sandwich panel and FRP PU sandwich panel are lightweight material. Easy to handle and it also reduces the total weight of your projects.
Both FRP XPS composite panel and FRP PU composite panel are used for refrigerated truck bodies, boat interior partition, cold rooms, mobile houses, kiosks etc.
