General introduction of China HPL High Pressure Laminate Honeycomb Panels for toilet partition and furture:

HPL (high pressure laminate) is a material ideal to be used as face of furniture decoration for its rigid & anti-scratch properties, it's also commonly used to make toilet partitions (cabins). Generally it has to be glued to certain substrate such as solid wood or plywood etc which are quite heavy and have chances of corrosion by damp or termites. In LZ Panels we laminate think HPL (high pressure laminate) sheet as skins to aluminium honeycomb core or PP honeycomb core, to form a three-layer light weighted sandwich panel, we call it HPL honeycomb panels. It is thick but light weighted, it can be made into thickness of 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 25mm etc as per customers' requirement. And HPL honeycomb panel size is similar to HPL solid sheet. We make this honeycomb panels with HPL sheet thickness of 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm or as required to toilet partition or funiture purpose. And the colors can be solid colors or metallic colors, or wooden colors like solid HPL sheets.

1. HPL honeycomb panel (high pressure laminate honeycomb) keeps the original look and feel and properties of HPL solid sheet. Because the surface skin is real thin HPL skins.

2. It's light weighted even though it's a thick panel like 18mm or 20mm etc. Because honeycomb core is hexagonal hollow core, its strong but light weighted. The whole panel will be rigid enough after it's installed in toilets or on the furniture.

3. We can add aluminium extrusions or solid wood blocks on the honeycomb panel edges or at the required position in order for customers to install hinges or locks or screws.

4. In the toilet or in the kitech it's quite wet and damp, if we use HPL solid thin sheets to glue on to plywood or solid wood it could soon be corroded but with aluminium honeycomb core we don't have such problems.
