What is Mirror Finish Stainless Steel Honeycomb Core Panel?

Stainless steel honeycomb core panel is a sandwich panel consisted of 3 layers. The middle layer is lightweight aluminium honeycomb core, the top layer & bottom layer are stainless steel sheets. And mirror stainless steel honeycomb panel is one type of fancy finish among these honeycomb core panels. The top sheet is finely polished stainless steel, classified as 8K polished silver mirror finish. This finish is very high reflective, it can reflect very clear images.

1. Facade cladding. Some projects want to have eye-catching look facade, then miror finish stainless steel honeycomb panel is ideal to be used. When people walk passing by, they can see reflection of themselves, that's quite interesting design. In some countries, such high reflective decoration facade materials might not be allowed to be used, for it could cause light pollution (reflection could affect the safty of air crafts).

Solid stainless steel no matter 2mm thick or 3mm thick would shows some oil canning / wavy surface. Making mirror sheets with honeycomb core panel structure can greatly improve the surface flatness.

2. Reduce the weight. A solid mirror stainless steel honeycomb core panel only weighs 12kg/m2 (10mm thick), while a solid stainless steel panel weighs 24kgs/m2 (3mm thick).
