Introduction of Fibreglass (Fiberglass) FRP Foam Core Sandwich Panel:

Fibreglass Sandwich Panel is composed of 3 layers of different material: two layers of fibreglass sheets and a foam core. These 3 layers are bonded together by using two components PU glue. Composite panels can always combine the features of different materials into one, bringing us a super good product. That's why we produce the fibreglass foam sandwich panel, in order to have a high durable but lightweight & thermal insulated product.

Fibreglass is written as fiberglass and known as FRP too. It's a type of fibreglass reinforced plastic that has good resistant to UV, good resistant to impact & scratch & chemicals. While the foam core is low density light weight material, and have good thermal insulation property. Laminating them into FRP foam core panel, we can get a sandwich panel embracing all those above features.

Specifications of Fibreglass (Fiberglass) FRP Foam Core Sandwich Panel:

Fiberglass foam sandwich panel width: from 1000mm to 2500mm available. Such as 1800mm, 2000mm, 2300mm or any other customized widths.

Length: cut to size. But we recommend that panel length is less than 5800mm, for easy hanlding & transportation.

FRP sandwich thickness: from 15mm up to 100mm. Customized thickness like 18mm, 20mm, 25mm 30mm, 50mm, 70mm etc, all are available.

Fibreglass skin sheet thickness: 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm etc. Mostly people use 2mm thick FRP skin sheets.

Core options of fibreglass sandwich panels: PU foam core (known as polyurethane, PUF) for a good thermal insulation & fire resistant; XPS foam core (known as Extruded polystyrene foam) for it's good thermal insulation and lower in cost.

Applications of Fibreglass (Fiberglass) FRP Foam Core Sandwich Panel:

The FRP foam core panel is mainly used for cold storage purposes. Like refrigerated truck bodies, cold room walls. Because the working environment for cold storage is humid, and could be slightly corrosive too. Fibreglass skin sheets can perform well in such conditions;

And people also use the fiberglass foam sandwich panel for making caravan bodies, ship or yacht interior partions.
