What is Fibreglass (Fiberglass) FRP Honeycomb Sheet Board Panels?

Fibreglass honeycomb sheet is a sandwich structure panel. The top sheet & bottom sheet of this sandwich board is fibreglass sheets, and core layer is aluminium honeycomb core or PP honeycomb core. So we also call it honeycomb fiberglass board or FRP honeycomb. 

The biggest meaning to make sandwich material, is to combine advantages of different materials in to one. That's also why we produce the fibreglass honeycomb sheet. Fibreglass sheets is fibreglass reinforced resin, it has very good weather-proof property, and not easy to be corrode by chemical such as acid or alklai, also it's will not be damaged by humidity, and the surface is not easy to scratch. But fiberglass sheets (FRP) are thin, generally is about 1.5mm to 3mm thick, so it's not rigid enough. We add honeycomb core as substrate to support the fiberglass skins to make honeycomb fiberglass board, adding strength to it and making it rigid. That means honeycomb panels fiberglass will be a rigid, impact resistant but keeps all original properties of FRP (durable).

Fibreglass skin sheets thickness: 1.5mm to 3mm.

Surface of fiberglass board: Glossy white, matt white, or colored. Gel coat as standard option.

Honeycomb fibreglass board thickness: 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 50mm etc. Customized thickness available.

FRP honeycomb core: aluminium honeycomb core or PP honeycomb core (polypropylene).

Fiberglass honeycomb sheet size: 1220x2440mm. Max width 2300mm, max length 5800mm.

Fibreglass honeycomb sheet with aluminium honeycomb core: generally is used as substrate material to manufacture stone honeycomb panel. Fibreglass surface is easy to glue stone veneer on to it. And Fibreglass provides enough strength to bind the bolts and nuts during installation.

Honeycomb fiberglass board with PP honeycomb core: generally is used for making truck bodies (dry van), or wall panels of kiosks, wall panels of container house. For it's good impact resistant and good vibration absorption.
