Aluminum Honeycomb Core Sandwich Panel is a composite material. Its structure is like a sandwich that has 3 layers. The top layer is aluminum sheet, middle layer is a hexagonal shape lightweight honeycomb core, bottom layer is also aluminium sheet. Composite material generally has a good combination of different properties from it's different components: aluminum sheets has good anti-corrosion property and nice decoration effects but if we use a thick sheet it's quite costy and heavy, aluminum honeycomb core is rigid and lightweight but it's not a good decorative material. That's when we make the aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel: we just need to use two thin aluminum sheets to keep the nice decoration effects, then use a lightweight and low cost aluminum honeycomb to enhance the strength of the thin aluminum skins and to achieve a thicker panel thickness.
